Re: Installing 7.6.4 on Windows 7 Pro 32bit

Hi Datsys100, I suggest you get a more recent version of the community edition let's say 7.6.4 https://sourceforge.net/projects/logicaldoc/files/distribution/LogicalDOC%20CE%207.6/logicaldoc-community-installer-7.6.4.exe/download Then you have to make sure you have actually installed a 32-bit JAVA J...

Re: error 404 while setting password for new login

Hi to all,
yesterday was released LogicalDOC 7.5.3 Community, I suppose the error has been resolved.
I tried it and I didn't find the problem, perhaps it has been already fixed in the code, but I was careful not to leave the checkbox "Password expires" enabled

Re: Java REST upload new version of document?

Hi, RestDocumentClient currently allows to update the document metadata, but doesn't have a method to update the content of a document. Though the DocumentService interface (com.logicaldoc.webservice.rest.DocumentService) exposes some of methods that allows to update the content (file) of a document...

Re: Integrate API with Web Application Java

Hi khot.raj, you should put the jar libraries of the LogicalDOC webservice API into the folder lib of your application in Tomcat. So if your web-application is named UploadGUI you should place the jars into C:\tomcat\webapps\UploadGUI\WEB-INF\lib Note: You will need to copy the jars of LogicalDOC of...

Re: mess code after Import from zip

The problem is that LogicalDOC imports from zip files using UTF-8 charset, this should be the default for ZIP files, but in reality file names and folders in the zip file often are encoded using different charset (This is the case of ZIPs created by Windows). https://marcosc.com/2008/12/zip-files-an...

Re: Preview not working - logdoc 7.4 Ubuntu14.04, LibreOffic

Hi lmilesuk, LogicalDOC Community can't allow you to preview Open Office documents, MS Office Documents, .txt documents and image documents, because it lacks of the PDF Conversion package. Without such package the system is not able to convert a document to pdf and then it is not able to pre-render ...

Re: Hiding Extended Properties that aren't used.

Hi lmilesuk,

unfortunately it is not possible to hide selectively the properties you don't want.
Similarly you can not hide the input fields (boxes).

I suggest you to fill out a feature request (improvement) in the issue tracker
http://issues.logicaldoc.com

Cheers :geek:

Hi to all,
I found a good article that can be useful: swftools on Ubuntu 14.04 – Trusty Tahr

Here is the link:
http://www.toysdesk.com/2014/06/swftool ... usty-tahr/

The sequence of commands allows to successfully compile and install on the system SWFTools version 0.9.2
