Re: Howto use FolderService.list
Hi Alex, I don't want to start a discussion about this - since it will be 'fixed' with that new 'listChildren' methode. I just want to throw onto the table, that the idea but in order to be efficient returns all children is totally awkward, because actually the opposite is true. In order to write a ...

Hi Alex,
I wasn't really sure if it's a bug or intended.
Best regards,
Enrico

Re: Howto use FolderService.list
Ok, my first demo app is done (see attached image). However, I found one 'feature' that I would declare as a bug: FolderService.list returns all folders, regardless of the security set. In my installation, I have several folders that only a certain user has access to (all other groups are removed fr...

Re: How to clean trash?
Because of I'm (relatively) new to LogicalDOC, may I ask what the term 'trash' in the context of LD means?

Howto use FolderService.list
Hi there, how can I use 'FolderService.list' if I don't know the root folder id? In my databse it is 5. If I use this (along with the proper sid) I get a nice list of folders with their id, parent id and name. Is it always '5'? Or is there a way to figure that id out? Another question - 'AuthService...

Re: create Document
Hi Alex, Just last Friday we have updated all the examples in different programming languages (. NET, Java and PHP), I'm glad that our examples have been of help. Is there by any chance a C++ version (even if totally incomplete)? No problem if not, it just would help to save some time. Especially in...

Re: Document Timestamp
I just found 'Web Services' - that pretty much renders my previous posting obsolete
Sorry for posting before searching.

Re: Document Timestamp
Thanks for that info. I already thought so, I couldn't come up with an idea how to read the timestamp in a browser. And that brought up that idea to write a tool, possibly (Win-)GUI (maybe as shell extension - that would be cool) to insert documents into logicaldoc - with batch upload capabilities p...
