Re: REST API - Get Document PDF

Hi Diego,
from the browser you can use the download servlet,
but you will have to pass the session ID (sid) as well the docId params

eg.:

Code: Select all

http://localhost:8080/download?docId=2219&sid=213456241564251
Note: if you're already logged in the system will read a cookie and doesn't need the sid

Re: Installing 7.6.4 on Windows 7 Pro 32bit

Tomcat requires Java and since you have a 32 bit system you can allocate max 1.5GB of memory Said that, you can try to start it manually. 1) Open a command prompt (cmd) 2) Change directory to where LD is installed cd C:\LogicalDOC\tomcat\bin 3) start Tomcat from cmd line catalina.bat run One other c...

Re: Cannot move document using REST API

Hi phurtado,
In your opinion, it would be better an HTTP POST method with two parameters for the move?

Re: Cannot move document using REST API

Try the attached patch (LD 7.6.4)
it adds the method move (HTTP PUT) with 2 query params: docId and folderId

You should uncompress in /classes

on Windows
C:\LogicalDOC\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes

Re: Cannot move document using REST API

Hi phurtado, in the past it was possible to use the update method also to move a document from one folder to another, but now no longer. The update method simply modifies the metadata of the document, but does not move it. The move method has been introduced for this scope, but in the 7.6.4 version ...

Re: Cannot move document using REST API

Hi phurtado,
you should carefully check the id of the target folder "folderId"
and perhaps the main log of web-application: /repository/dms.log

Re: Cannot See previews in Enterprise trail version

Hi Stefan, starting from LD 7.7 we introduced the Format Converter, that feature will allow you to convert documents from one format to another and is obviously also used to convert document into PDFs (these will be used by the preview system) So you should configure the converter for the documents ...
