If you're using LogicalDOC 6.x you don't need to install anything special, all the languages are already present in the distribution you downloaded. simply go to: Administration --> GUI Languages and then you can view the languages present in the software. may I ask you in what programming language you're calling the web-services of logicaldoc?
Just last Friday we have updated all the examples in different programming languages (. NET, Java and PHP), I'm glad that our examples have been of help.

The enviroment variable JAVA_HOME is required by Tomcat. Our commercial installer takes care of setting this for you, if you installed manually (i think you're using LogicalDOC CE) you must set this enviroment variable in your system. Hi edwsin, Thaks for the congrats and the suggestions ! We are currently working on two fronts: a bugfix release 6.0.1 and a new version 6.1 of the software... So some things will probably be ready in 6.0.1 and others IN THE 6.1 In version 6.0.1 there will be the ability to resize the preview window...

If I remember well in the new logicaldoc 6.0 there is a new privilege on folder called download.
You can leave the read permissions for the folder and disable permission to download,
so you will be able to see the folder, the preview of the documents but not to download them.
