Re: windows firewall inbound rule: which services?
Only LogicalDOC will serve traffic on port 8080, and you can sleep quiet dreams because we are strong enough
In any case this firewall rule is just a small help to you as system administrator, feel free to adapt is to your needs.

Re: windows firewall inbound rule: which services?
Thanks for this feedback, we recently added this capability in the installer but the port must be open for any service and program, like you done. We will change our installer accordingly.

Re: Stuck at Loading Messages
It seems you are using Internet Explorer. In this case, just remove the 'compatibility mode' visualization for the IP of the LogicalDOC's server.

Re: Access Logicaldoc Remotely
You should use this url: http://<server_ip>:8080. Make sure to open the port 8080 in the firewall of the server that hosts LogicalDOC

Re: Checkin not working when editing with Google Docs
When you choose 'checkin' in the editing popup of GoogleDocs, the document must be checkedin into LogicalDOC, a new version is created and the document itself unlocked. If this doesn't happen, probably the LogicalDOC server was unable to contact GoogleDocs from your LogicalDOC's server

Re: add documents...
Anytime you put a document in LogicalDOC the file's binary is stored in the system.
If you need to massively import folders you will have to go with one of the commercial editions.

In general javax artifacts have to be installed manually in your local repository. In any case, try to execute again now.

i mean the logs of your database engine, not the logs of logicaldoc.
