Single Sign On

Is there anyway to logon to LogicalDoc CE using some sort of Single Sign On?

What I would like to do is to send a request to the server such as http://192.168.56.139:8080/logicaldoc/?folderId=8 from a different web application and have LD return the window without forcing me to logon.
I see that we can send the sid as part of the URL but this does not work, additionally I also see somewhere that we can send a HTTP Header (Authentication), but this seems to work only for Document download.

Any help is appreciated.

Currently LogicalDOC does not support single sign-on,
but in commercial editions the authentication is possible via LDAP, or MS Active Directory

Thanks agaspa. I guess you responded to my other question along the same lines.
I guess I will have to use Web Services to retrieve and format all the information I need.

single sign-on is quite important for me as majority of my customers are looking for faster transaction. They also don't like their information to be saved somewhere else.
