External Applications Path Fail

LogicalDOC has many interesting features, but requires some configuration process to show its full potential.

External Applications Path Fail

Thu May 30, 2013 10:48 am

Hi,

First of all, I'm trying the Enterprise trial 6.7 version installed on Ubuntu Server 12.04.
When I go to Administration --> Adjust --> External Applications, I change the path of Convert, Ghostscript, Tesseract, OpenOffice and SWFtools and when I do click on save, the application don't do anything.
I do the instalation by console. I follow all steps which are specified on the installation guide. Anybody know where is the problem?

Thanks,

This is a known bug of the GUI already corrected in version 6.7.1 that will be soon released.
By now you can edit your conf/context.properties and restart LogicalDOC, these are the property to setup:
command.convert=/usr/bin/convert
command.gs=/usr/bin/gs
command.tesseract=/usr/bin/tesseract
swftools.path=/usr/bin
openoffice.path=/usr/lib/openoffice

Dear dgutierrez,
LogicalDOC Enterprise version 6.7.1 requires Java (JDK) 1.7.
This version offers features of absolute importance that allows to precisely control the load of the application on the server CPU. Without Java (JDK) version 1.7, the system may not function properly.
