Preview and Search not working

Hi,

We are a new user of CE, installed y'day. The Open Office ver is 4.1.1 the configuration was auto during installation. Can anyone suggest, does the preview and search supported in CE ?

Hi manojag22,
the preview of office documents (MS Office and OpenOffice) is not available in LogicalDOC CE.
This is not a configuration seeting, there isn't the code that produces the preview.

Thank you so much, one more question and may be last one, is text search supported in CE ?

full-text search is supported, but the search engine works on a search index that must be populated.
The fact is that the community edition version has limited ability to document indexing.
In order for a document to be searchable by the full-text search engine, its contents must be extracted from a parser and inserted into the search index.
