Clear Logs?

LogicalDOC has many interesting features, but requires some configuration process to show its full potential.

Clear Logs?

Sun Apr 26, 2015 9:38 am

Is there a way to clear/purge the log files (Notifier, Audit, ect)? How are they maintained? Some seem to have events going back several months and have many entries. Trying to read through them makes it difficult to debug a particular incident.

Cleaning logs can be easily done, but you must turn off the service LogicalDOC otherwise it will be difficult to delete the files.
The files are in folder \repository\logs
On a standard installation they are located in the C:\logicaldoc\repository\logs

The complete procedure is as follows:
  • Stop the system service LogicalDOC
  • Delete the log files from the folder
  • Restart the LogicalDOC

Return to “Configuration”
