Has anyone created a script possibly using HTTP requests to automate the releasing of documents in Logical Doc on Ubuntu?
If so could you provide me with an example if possible?
Many thanks in advance

Hi @lmilesuk,
can you be a bit more precise?
What do you mean with "release"?
can you be a bit more precise?
What do you mean with "release"?

Thankyou so much for your help so far it's proving invaluable in my learning experience with LogicalDoc, what I was trying to get at was this;
So I already have a document created in documents, however I want to automate the up-issue of the said document, so upload an updated version and fill out all the required firelds, i.e version numbers, Notes etc.
Is this possible using scripting instead of having to open a browser and do it maunally, for example using HTTP Requests using JavaScript?
I'm trying automate the process for when I have multiple releases.
Many thanks in advance

Hi @lmilesuk,
it is possible to automate some activities by using the Web-interfaces exposed by Logicaldoc.
Currently there are some good examples in PHP and other languages published on the wiki
Here is a direct link http://wiki.logicaldoc.com/wiki/Bindings_And_Samples
To better undersand the Web Services API (WS-API) here is the link to the reference
