Scan a document

We tried to make LogicalDOC as intuitive as possible, but an advice is always welcome.

Scan a document

Wed Jan 12, 2011 1:59 pm

Hi there,
I have a question about the scan function. I tried the online-demo but there the button mentioned in the manual to scan a document is different. In the demo it says in german (Dokument durchsuchen)=search document...? Is it the scan function and just translated wrong ?
Does the scan function actually work - did someone try it ?

Thanks

Hi!
Sorry, but the tooltip text was translated wrong. I think that the correct tooltip text should be 'Dokument scannen'. Right?
However the scan function works!
The requirements are:
1) Scanner TWAIN connected to yuor PC
2) Java Plugin

Hello Mcaruso,
thanks for the reply !
Yes, "Dokument scannen" would be right...
What kind of java plugin must be installed ?

Hi Lorenz,
for LogicalDOC is necessary the Java 1.6 Environment. The last available update is Java 6 Update 23.

I've installed logicaldoc. I've tried windows and linux.
I could't activate the scan function on both systems....
How do I do it ?

Thanks

Lorenz
