I just got a little confused by LD showing non indexed files in its statistics:
I then checked the logs:
Code: Select all
28.11.2011 13:20:27,974 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 140) -- Task IndexerTask started
28.11.2011 13:20:27,975 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 60) -- Start indexing of all documents
28.11.2011 13:20:27,976 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 77) -- Found a total of 6 documents to be indexed
28.11.2011 13:20:29,332 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 97) -- Indexing finished
28.11.2011 13:20:29,332 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 98) -- Indexed documents: 6
28.11.2011 13:20:29,333 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 99) -- Errors: 0
28.11.2011 13:20:29,342 INFO (com.logicaldoc.core.searchengine.IndexerTask: 157) -- Task IndexerTask finished
Indexed documents: 6
Errors: 0
by resubmitting the indexing job: same messages. However, the statistics remained regarding the non indexed files. Also, the indexing queue did not change at all.
I then noticed that amount of the "non indexed" files is identical to the amount of aliases I have in LD. The main reason why I got confused was that the indexing queue shows the actual document (with mime icon i.e. pdf) and not the alias icon (link).
It would be helpful if aliases are skipped/not indexed as well as not displayed in the queue. Maybe there could also be a hint in the log file (i.e. amount of aliases found...skipped...whatever)...
I hope, this helps to further improve this great (and free) dms..
Cheers, Michael
