Hi,
How often LogicalDoc Community Edition need to be updated with new patches? Once per 1 months? Once per 2 months?
I'm thinking about the maintenance work load.
Kind regards
Juha

Re: Update frequency
You are not forced to apply any updates.
Updates are released 6/7 times per Year, but you are free, you can decide or not to keep your system up to date.

Thanks a lot, agaspa.
Are these updates patches and/or new features? Or are new features released always only as dedicated new release packages?

Hi juhavuorinen,
it depends, usually new features are released on the minor version,
but sometimes important features are released also on bugfix (as example the new HTML5 preview).
Generally speaking you can just apply the patches that moves to a new minor release eg: from 7.4 to 7.5
Note: patches for LogicalDOC Community are not released frequently and the update process is manual,
for the commercial editions updates packages comes very close to each new release.
