Is there any API which provides criteria to fetch limited list of documents to achieve pagination

I want to fetch limited list of documents from LogicalDOC to achieve pagination in my web application. While fetching 15000+ records as a list from Logical doc API (GET- /document/list) its taking huge time and the records were not loaded in my web application which is fetching data from LogicalDOC. Due to this other APIs are also slowing down.
Does LogicalDOC API provides option to fetch limited data to achieve pagination?
