Can anyone recommend any plug-ins / solutions that will work with LogicalDOC that will allow line / item level annotations on any stored document.

Hi, no suggestion at the moment.

You can of course use every annotation tool you want, and you will always be able to upload the altered PDF to LogicalDOC, but the program will simply ignore them.
This should be treated as some kind of feature request, so it is better for you to interact with the support service support@logicaldoc.com and check what is the effort to implement this in LogicalDOC.
