community war distribution incomplete

Hello,

I am new to logicaldoc. Since the installer requires root/configures for root which is not OK for our environment, I went the route for the war distribution.

But it looks like this is incomplete.
- Login Page "view the mobile web version": 404 login-mobile.jsp
- Lots of folders and files are missing from the webapp/ROOT
- there is no update in administration -> general like mentioned in the manual
- Settings -> Quota does not work -> 404 message bottom-left.
Is this because the community edition is crippled? Then why is the "view the mobile version" link at the login page?

When I copy the contents from the installer-edition I cannot login because the license is invalid. Which is confusing, since thats also the community edition.

Hi,
the war distribution is basically the same of the installer package,

- Login Page "view the mobile web version": 404 login-mobile.jsp

That is normal, the community edition doesn' include the mobile interface, that is only available in the commercial editions.

- Lots of folders and files are missing from the webapp/ROOT

The war edition package is totally different from the installer package, that is normal, you sould check the logicaldoc-7.7-tomcat-bundle.zip package

- there is no update in administration -> general like mentioned in the manual

The online manual refers to commercial versions, the auto-update procedure is not foreseen for the community version

Settings -> Quota does not work -> 404 message bottom-left.

Of this error I am not aware of, I have to verify

The community edition is a reduced version of LD commercial editions, you can see a comparison matrix of the features at https://www.logicaldoc.com/features

You should not copy the contents of the commercial installer because it obviously will not work on a community version (without license)
