Apache using all the available memory

Thu Feb 20, 2020 9:53 pm

Hi all,
Apache Commons Daemon Service Runner constantly increases the memory usage. It uses approximately 1GB every 10 hours, making quickly all the system slow and unstable.
I installed the latest community version 8.3.4 on Windows Server 2016. I tried 2 different installations, with MySql and with SQL Server, same memory issue just after completing the install.
At the moment the installation is for testing purposes and almost not used, but the memory get burned anyway.
The memory is released only when restart the service.
Please advise what might be the issue, where I can look into.

Thanks
Regards

Try to disable all the various scheduled activities completely (AKA Scheduled Tasks)
Administration, System, Scheduled Tasks
(right click on the task to enable the contextual menu)
https://docs.logicaldoc.com/en/system/scheduled-tasks

Also we found that in some large installation a large number of unique tags is slowly compromising the performance of the GUI. So you can try to change the tag insertion from free to preset and see if the performences improve or stay the same
