Dear Internet,

I write to you for some guidance. We are currently in Iraq and we are in need of a document management software. After looking at Logicaldoc we found out that the community version is more than perfect for us, so we thought we would install it. But although we do have the hardware for this we have no idea what so ever on how to install this. And after looking around we found out there are no one else that knows how to do it as well here.

So therefore we thought that we could ask you guys if anyone has a step by step installation guide somewhere? we are planning on installing it on a win server 2008 R2

Your help would be very very helpful

Hi, you can install in your Windows Server 2008 R2, please install on a server with Xeon Quad Core 2.5GHz and at least 4GB RAM.

Unfortunately the LogicalDOC Community doesn't provide an installer, but you can read this if you need an install guide http://wiki.logicaldoc.com/wiki/Quick_Install

If you need professional support to install and maintain your LogicalDOC installation, you should switch to one of the commercial editions.

yeah i know about the quick install link. Regarding your commercial advice, it is easier to create peace between the Israelis and Palestinians rather than convincing our CEO to spend money on this.

but yeah, thanks for your help
