I have installed LogicalDoc on a Synology NAS.
I have logged in as Admin and created a new user (Superuser)
But, I saw no place to create a password for that account. And, I cannot log in under that new account. This seems rather simple, but tonight it is beyond me. Can someone push me in right direction for setting up a sample database?
Thank you

Re: how to begin as a user?
Hi JRH in TX,
please take a look at the installation guide for Synology in the documentation website
https://docs.logicaldoc.com/en/installa ... n-synology
Note: if you already installed LogicalDOC from the marketplace I suggest to uninstall it because on the dist website there is a newer version 7.7.5 http://dist.logicaldoc.com

agaspa,
Thank you for the information. I followed the link and installed the 7.7.5 version. Same results. I cannot log in with any existing id/pswd.
It seemed like a good product, just not ready for prime time.
No instructions, no information, no examples. This product isn't for me.
Thank you for the assist.

Re: how to begin as a user?
Hi JRH,
I can only assume that there was a problem during the database setup, perhaps a problem connecting to the DB server or a permissions problem.
However, the result is that the logicaldoc database was not correctly initialized and therefore the system can not be accessed.
In any case you can manually run the setup of the application from
http://<YOUR_NAS_IP>:8080/setup
