Scanning

Hello,

I'm trying a local demo-installation and have trouble with scanning documents.
I also tried this on demo.logicaldoc.com in order to see if it works there. Unfortunately after the servelet ist loaded I can choose my scanner from a list, but then nothing happens. I'm using a fujitsu document scanner that is twain able. It works on my linux with sane compatibility.

Is there anything that I need to consider?

Thank you

I tried it on Windows 7 aswell with no luck. What exactly do you mean by "twain sources"?

Why are some of my comments and questions not published?
Is this the common way how logicaldoc is handling community users? I'm definately looking for an answer

Regarding the twain sources, you have to install a scanner with TWAIN drivers into your Windows box, than you can use the scan applet. In general all windows-ready scanners have the twain scanner.

Still I don't know how this should work. I do have a Fujitsu ScanSnap 1500 which works on Windows with its own drivers. This device also works on Linux as a sane device.

Can you please tell me how to make use of "Twain" for this device on Windows?
