Changing "email" template

Thu Oct 13, 2016 6:41 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to change the template of emails added via the Outlook add-in? Right now, they all come in as the email template, but we want to be able to select the template, or at least have the document inherit the template that is locked to the folder where it is sent to.

Thanks.

Hello ksimpson,
currently it is not possible to select a different template (document type) for the email messages stored using the Outlook-Addin.
The same for your second request, but it is possible to change the fields of the email template adding new ones
Note: you must not delete the "email" template and not change the name of its attributes, but if you need you can add new attributes to that template.
If you need the functionalities you cited, I suggest you to fill-out a feature request in the bug tracker http://bugs.logicaldoc.com
