I want to clean trash, but I can not find the botton to clean trash.How to clean trash?Thanks!

On logicaldoc commercial editions there is a scheduled task that performs automatically the cleaning of trashes.
Actually this task is available only on the commercial editions of the software, while there isn't a manual button to clean the trash
(this is a matter of performance)

Because of I'm (relatively) new to LogicalDOC, may I ask what the term 'trash' in the context of LD means?

So if I understand correctly, there is no way to empty the trash in the "CE" version (community version)?

Yes, this is correct,
in LogicalDOC CE actually you can't empty the trash.
A user of the community edition from the trash can only restore a previously deleted document.
Note that this is the same also in the commercial editions, the only difference is that in those versions there is a task that serves to clean the repository from deleted documents.
That task is called "Database Cleaner" and you can see it in the bottom area of the previously attached image
