Calendar Date Format

Mon Nov 17, 2014 6:47 pm

Is there a way to set the calendar date to U.S. (MM/DD/YYYY) format? Making my default language U.S. English or selecting U.S. English at login doesn't work.

Hi @die7fox,
you should enable English US on the GUI settings.
Administration -> Settings -> GUI Settings -> GUI Languages (Tab)

After you have to press the "Save" button that you see at the bottom of the active area

In the end you have to logout and at the time of login, select English - USA as your language

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I've already followed these steps and the date format is still European. U.S. English is the only GUI language we have enabled, all of my users have U.S. English set as the default language in their profiles, and selecting U.S. English at login doesn't change the calendar dates.

The calendar appears to be the only place where this isn't effective. Dates in other parts of the system - document checkin/checkout, version changes, history, etc. - show up in U.S. format.

Ok die7fox,
can you post a screenshot with the dates on the calendar that you see in your system?
I tried with LD 7.1.1 and until time to select the date seems to me that things work out well.

I have attached a screen shot of the top part of the calendar view. Again, this appears to be the only place where the dates are in European format.

Ok, I saw it,
actually consulting the calendar in the Dashboard, the dates are shown in european English.
I notified the problem to the developers, in the meantime if you wish you can fill-out a report in the issue tracking
