Searching and idexing using trial vertion.

I have installed the trial version of logicalDoc version 8.3.3 on widows 10 with Apache server.
I have uploaded some documents of various file types into the logicalDoc as an exercise. The search tab does not work at all even though the documents are indexed. Is this normal with the trial version? Please some one explain.
