On one of our servers, there are around 16000 documents which add up to around 80Gb of space used. All the files are searchable PDFs.

The issue is that our index files have grown to 111Gb. None of our other servers have experienced this issue!

If we re-index all documents, does that delete the index files? - if not, is it safe to do so manually and then perform a full re-index?

If you reindexx all documents, the index is completely deleted first and then recreated. In order to have your index the most compact possible you have to make sure your task Index Optimization is regularly executing, since this will phisically remove all deleted records.

thanks,i am familiar with the graphical selector, my goal in this matter is to see the all content of one's folder without filtering by entering an expression.
