Document Preview Broken Since Latest Patch

We recently installed the most recent update patch for LogicalDOC 7.2.1. The installation appears to have broken the Document Preview for Microsoft Office documents. Any new Word or Excel documents that are uploaded, or any such documents that are checked out and checked in again, cannot be previewed. Any documents that were in the system prior to the update and have NOT been modified can still be previewed. We are running the Linux version of LogicalDOC, so documents are previewed using OpenOffice.

What is the number of the update package you have installed?
On the login page which is the version number of LogicalDOC?

LogicalDOC Enterprise 7.2.1. The installed patch was released last month, I believe. One of the enhancements was that new folders would automatically inherit permissions from their parents. That is working, so the patch installation appeared to be successful.

Hi die7fox,
you should try to change the value of filed parameter office.convert.enabled to: false

The property is available in the Parameters, below the path:
Administration -> Settings -> Parameters

After saving using the buttom on the bottom, try to load a new document and to request its preview

Thank you. Unfortunately, that did not work. The preview still will not render. In many cases, the thumbnail image of the document does not appear, either.
