We tried to make LogicalDOC as intuitive as possible, but an advice is always welcome.

Drop Spot problem

Tue Aug 25, 2015 7:40 am

I am have a problem with the Drop Spot function with the Business Edition of LogicalDoc.

The Drop Spot function works perfectly using IE or Chrome on a Windows 10 machine. However, clicking on the Drop Spot icon on a Windows 7, Ubuntu or Fedora machine brings no response at all.

Can you suggest where the problem with Drop Spot might be coming from?

Many thanks

Hi Ross,

you should have at least Java JRE 7 (AKA Java 1.7) installed in the system and configured to work in the browser.

On Windows 7 you should this is simple, you can just check for it in the control panel,
on Ubuntu or Fedora this could be more complicated.

It might depends also from the browser, you should check that the execution of Java code (applets) is enabled in the browser.

Here are some of links that can help you
Ubuntu

Red Hat based distributions

https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/questi ... t-id-12784

What is the version of your LogicalDOC?
It might be that the certificate of the applet of your version is expired... (you will need to upgrade LogicalDOC)
