Changing Document Revision

Is there a way to change a document revision to match the revision that we are inputting into the system? We are migrating from another system and want to avoid starting at revision 1 again.

No I'm sorry, this is not possible.
Even using the webservices you can not specify the version number you want,
the system start counting the versions of documents using the parameter document.startversion
