Can I change the published date of a document

We tried to make LogicalDOC as intuitive as possible, but an advice is always welcome.

Can I change the published date of a document

Tue Sep 12, 2017 8:17 pm

Hello,

I have installed LogicalDoc CE on a local server I run at my house to enable me to store a digital copy of my paperwork (bills, payslips, important documents etc...).

Although the publish date is acceptable for scanning/adding newly received documents as the publish date will only be a few days out from the date on the letter; can I change the publish date when scanning previously received letters to digitise my existing paperwork.

The reason I want to do this is so I can view the paperwork in the order that it was received/sent (not the order they were scanned and uploaded).

Hi valencroft,
it is not possible in the community edition to change the publish date,
that option is enabled only in the commercial editions;
however you can define a new document type (template) with your own attributes and you can specify one of type date
