Hi guys,
I am trying LogicalDOC CE 7.7 for professional use, before I make proposal with documentation to the mgt of the company for purchase and its benefits, and I need the following details about limits of LogicalDOC CE 7.7 (not Business or Enterprise for now for testing):
1. Is there a limit of users in CE and if there is how much is it?
2. Is there a limit of documents in CE and if there how much is it? (as a number and as a total size of all documents)
3. The installation in Windows is it mandatory to be a Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 or it can be Windows 10 Pro?
Thank you for the help.
Respectfully,
Milorad K.

Re: Limits of LogicalDOC CE 7.7
Hi milor,
If you want to test LogicalDOC Community Edition (LogicalDOC CE) I suggest you to get the latest release that is v7.7.1
Windows exec
https://sourceforge.net/projects/logica ... e/download
Cross-platform
https://sourceforge.net/projects/logica ... p/download
However I have to warn you that this distribution lacks of many features that have been added into the commercial editions
See the comparison matrix https://www.logicaldoc.com/features

Re: Limits of LogicalDOC CE 7.7
Hi agaspa,
I have installed CE 7.7.1 and BE in virtual environments to test. Thanks for the links, I read them, but in the comparison matrix for features there is no information about the following:
1. Limit of users either CE or BE as number?
2. Limit of documents either in CE or BE as a number or total size of all?
3. What is the downside of installing either CE or BE on Windows 10 Pro contrary Windows Server 2016?
Can you help me with these issues?
Thanks,
Milorad K.

Re: Limits of LogicalDOC CE 7.7
Hi Milorad,
LogicalDOC CE has no limit in both number of the users and number of documents.
LogicalDOC Enterprise Edition - Trial version (the one you can get from our website) has a limit of 5 users and 1M (1 million) of documents.
If after the trial you want to purchase all the data will be kept and we can unlock the users you need as well as the documents.
There is virtually no downside,
but with LogicalDOC EE on Windows Server you can authenticate users against Active Directory,
so you don't need to create users nor groups.
