Actually I use Logicaldoc Community 7.7.3.
I've a folder "folder-test" in "Default" and there are few files in this folder. My admin account can access to these files but not a new account in group "group-test" inherit of guest.
Default > Security > group-test and guest permissions : Read - Print - Download
My new account linked to "group-test" can't view these files in "folder-test".
I don't understand why.
The contents you find here are totally obsolete so do not use this website to obtain a solution for your issues: the indications you get from here will not be accurate and may lead to data loss or other mayor problems

that is very strange,
I tested some days ago the configuration you described against a LogicalDOC Enterprise 7.7.5 and and I did not find any problems, the user of the group-test group can see the contents of the folder "folder-test".
However I will run this test again on a LogicalDOC Community 7.7.3 to see if there is any problem there.
In the meantime I suggest you check the group user association for the new user you created.
Pay particular attention to the "Read" permission
