Need to Setup after Server Restart

Problems with installing LogicalDOC? No problems, the solution is closer than you think.

Need to Setup after Server Restart

Wed Feb 15, 2012 3:53 pm

Hey there,

i just installed logicaldoc 6.3 on my ubuntu server with the included tomcat.

I started the setup with internal DB logged in (all went fine), and restarted the server(linux, not tomcat). After the restart i couldn't login anymore and had to call the setup again. All Data was lost.

I also set up logicaldoc with a mysql db and had the same problem (without loosing my data, by reentering the mysql connection data).

It's also strange, that i can invoke the setup.jsp twice. Do I have to delete it for normal useage, so that noone can call it after first setup?

I restarted the tomcat without rebooting the whole server and hadn't to invoke the setup.jsp .

Any guess, what I'm doing wrong?

Greetings

Try giving any folders used 777 permissions - that includes your webapps folder and any logicaldoc folders.

also, check all your JAVA variables are set correctly - eg JAVA_HOME

Return to “Installation”
