I am using LDCE 7.7 on Linux Mint 19.1
Recently, the search function in LD has stopped working. No matter if I search in Tags, Filename or Content it always returns zero results. I have dropped the index and reindexed everything, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. If I check the index it says no problems were detected with this index. When I check the count it shows 2169 entries (which seems about right).
How do I fix this?

Re: Search not working
Any ideas anyone? Does anyone know if there are any log files that I could review to see what might be happening here?

Re: Search not working
Okay, I found the log and it says:
Could not initialize class com.ibm.icu.text.SimpleDateFormat
I have determined that this class is in a jar file called: com.ibm.icu_4.4.2.v20110823.jar, a copy of which resides in location: ~/Android/Sdk/tools/lib/monitor-x86_64/plugins on my linux file system.
Is it possible to just copy this file to some place in my LD installation. Well, of course I know it's possible, I mean where should I copy it. Or, am I on the wrong track?
