Preview Not Available. Contact The System Administrator

We tried to make LogicalDOC as intuitive as possible, but an advice is always welcome.

Preview Not Available. Contact The System Administrator

Mon Oct 06, 2014 3:46 pm

Whenever I try to preview a document, I get the following error message: "Preview not available. Contact the system administrator."

The following third party applications are installed and working:
SWFTools
OpenOffice 4
ImageMagick
GhostScript
Tesseract

Not sure what the problem could be. This is happening on all clients (Windows, Mac, CentOS, etc.). What else should I check for?

We're running the 30-day trial. Is that why preview isn't working?

Ok got it. To have the preview running you have to provide and configure in the logicaldoc's server a set of external components, assuming you installed in Linux here is the manual page describing their installation: http://docs.logicaldoc.com/en/installat ... ware-linux

Then you have to configure LogicalDOC: http://docs.logicaldoc.com/en/installat ... ldoc-linux
See 'Post-Installation'

Okay, we see what happened. We had the path to Open Office misconfigured. Preview is working fine now. Thanks!
