Assign rights of a document to a user from different division
I want to assign viewing rights of a document to a user who belongs to different group. How can I do this? I am using LogicalDoc community edition v 8.3.2. Please help.

Hi @girishpadia,
read permissions, like other privileges in LogicalDOC, are managed at the folder level.
So to solve your case you have to add the group to the folder, in this way the user will automatically have read permissions.
Just select a folder from the tree navigator then select the tab Security.
Also at this point you can manage the permissions for writing, deleting, downloading and much more.
Privileges can be expressed in relation to groups or even on individual users
